Islamist group claims responsibility Tiananmen

An Islamist group , proclaiming Turkestan Islamic Party , claimed responsibility for the deadly attack occurred on October 28 on Tiananmen Square in Beijing , said the organization website , specializing in monitoring Islamist organizations on the Internet.
The group has posted an audio message eight minutes Uygur language of its leader, Abdullah Mansour, in which he explained that the attack was a " jihadist operation." He adds that it is the first step in a campaign against the Chinese authorities

On October 28, a vehicle was dark on tourists and onlookers walking on the famous Chinese capital, then caught fire , killing three occupants and two bystanders.

In his statement, Mansour announced that Uighur fighters will take to target the Great Hall of the People , the seat of China's parliament and held celebrations and elections the Communist Party.

"Chinese infidels know that you have deceived the East Turkestan [ a territory in western countries] during the past 60 years, but we woke up , said Mansour. 's People realized that was the real enemy and returned to his own religion. He learned his lesson . "

 " TERRORISM "

Chinese authorities blamed the attack on the East Turkestan Islamic Movement , a Uighur separatist group in Xinjiang province . Five people were arrested and were accused of being Islamic extremists wishing to conduct a holy war . Since the attack , security has been strengthened both in Beijing and Xinjiang , and the incident serves Chinese propaganda , which calls " terrorism " or " separatism " any individual or violent phenomenon relating to Xinjiang. Ten million Uighurs , a Turkic-speaking people and Muslim , are subject to repressive measures ( house searches , religious practice framed) by the local authorities.

No link has yet been established between the organization claimed responsibility for the attack and the East Turkestan Islamic Movement , classified as a terrorist organization . Expert opinions differ on the operational character of the movement , its actions have largely declined after the death of one of its influential leaders in 2003. Some experts believed in 2011 that he had reformed as the Islamic Party of Turkestan organization had claimed responsibility for attacks in China before the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
